AMFLEX^TM Forced Ventilation Ducting Wire Reinforced Ducting
AMFLEX^TM wire re-inforced ducting can be used for exhaust or reversible ventilation systems. The ducting can be supplied in flame retardant or anti-static PVC coated materials of varying strengths to meet each customer's specification.

AMFLEX ^TM Exhaust Ventilation Ducting
AMFLEX ^TM forced ventilation ducting can be made to any specification depending on the fabric used. Standard, Heavy Duty and Extra Heavy Duty PVC coated with flame retardant and anti static properties can be supplied.

AMFLEX ^TM Ducting Cassettes
Due to the increase in machine driven roadways and the need for more efficient ventilation systems, Amco Plastics have produced a cassette to accomodate 100 metre lengths of ventilation ducting as standard. The cassette is mounted behind the tunnel boring machine or road header and the ducting is automatically fed from the back as the machine advances. With less joints in the ventilation ducting line, leakage is reduced and more air can be delivered or a less powerful fan can be used.

The load that a roadway support arch is capable of carrying without deformation, when spread over its entire circumference, is twelve times that which can be carried on a sinlge point load. AMFLEX^TM strata tubes have been developed to provide a convenient method of ensuring that the load is spread by filling the space between the arch and the excavated strata with a yielding grout.
