Bespoke Extrusion Projects
All extrusion products manufactured by Amco Plastics Limited are bespoke in that they are designed to exactly meet the customers’ requirements, even when these are not fully defined at the outset.
We work hand in hand with customers to ensure that the extrusion products supplied by Amco are fit for purpose. This could be anything from a rigid tube which will eventually end up as part of a goal post or one that will be incorporated into a paint roller, to a co-extruded profile used to protect against fingers being trapped in door frames or a flexible strip which is used to protect LED lighting used in the entertainment industry.
Bespoke fence post product:
Many different grades of materials were trialed before arriving at the exact combination of flexibility and durability for the product, which was to be used as a fence post mould.
Bespoke lightbox product:
As the product was developed for our customer it was found that a different material would be required to allow more transparency through the cover. This meant that the requirements were refined and Amco Plastics made several amendments to the extrusion tool to accommodate these changes. The design was also amended to allow the spring clip cover to fit into the rigid base extrusion of the light box.
