Amco Plastics recognises that we all have a responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of our activities. We commit to

  • Comply with all legal requirements and implement procedures and programmes to ensure compliance with all current and future legislation.
  • Maintain certification to the Environmental Management Standard BS EN ISO 14001
  • Promote the efficient use of resources and raw materials and minimise waste production, re-using or recycling waste, where feasible.
  • Use the best available technology, where appropriate and economically viable, in all extrusion and fabrication processes.
  • Reduce to a practicable minimum the environmental impacts from its activities at its factory and strive to prevent pollution.
  • In conjunction with suppliers and sub-contractors, assess the environmental impacts arising from the use of goods and services purchased.
  • Educate and inform its staff to make them aware of the environmental impacts of their day to day activities.
  • Regularly review its operations to determine its environmental impacts.
