Flexible Profiles

Amco Plastics manufacture an extensive range of flexible plastic profiles in a wide range of materials and colours.  Our flexible profiles are predominately used in the cable, construction and DIY industries. 

 

Our current machine capabilities allow us to manufacture flexible extrusion profiles of any size which falls within a 150mm x 100mm envelope. These profiles are made to our customer’s required lengths. Specialist downstream equipment means that cutting is automatic and precise to the millimetre, but due to the flexible nature of the material we also have the facilities to allow the profile to be coiled.  Various materials are used dependant on the application but the most common one is flexible PVC which is available in different hardnesses. 

 

We have the facility to offer several services that can be applied to your profiles ranging from simple in-line printing of the Company name, batch number, manufacture date etc., application of adhesive tape, drilling or punching to name but a few.  For more information regarding our services please see the section ‘Post Extrusion Services’.  If your needs are not shown we may be able to offer the service required, so please ask.

 

Flexible Profile Products

We can manufacture flexible profile products including solid and cross fillers used in structured cabling, IT equipment, datacom systems and the offshore industry, stair edging and inserts, skirting and covings for the DIY/Buildings industry, LED covers for the exhibition and entertainment industries and a small reflective strip which is used on bags and clothing in the leisure industry, to name but a few.
